Opinions sought: I have a pair of Focal Utopia 6.5 inch speakers, which consist of the main 6.5 inch speakers, plus tweeters. If I install the main 6.5 inch speakers in the back door, replacing the 6x9s, and the tweeters in the front door, will I have imaging problems? I plan to leave the Bose front speakers in place, but to fade most of the sound to the Focals. The Focals would be fed thru a LOC and amp, using the back speaker leads to avoid the Bose equalizer. Would the sound be too bright with both the Bose speakers and the tweeters in the front?

put the new components up front and leave the factory speakers in the back. youll see a big improvement

When you go to a concert hall, where do the sound come from? Yes, the front, so you want the best speakers in the front. The rear speakers are just for ambiance, you are not supposed to even hear them, that's why they are called "rear fills". Put the Focals up front and keep the tweeter and mid as close to each other as possibe. This way, you will create a nice front stage and if you mount the speakers right, like in the kick panel, you will get awesome imaging.
