Upper display problem - any ideas

OK, I have a 2004 Navi TSX, I replaced my amp over a year ago and everything has worked perfectly - not a single electrical glitch. This morning when I come out to my car, the upper display (the white letters that show time, radio preset, a/c temp) was EXTREMELY dark/dim - I could barely see the letters it in the shade. It was there however so it wasn't a totally black screen. The navi screen was normal. I played with the brightness knob thinking that was it - nope. I restarted the car hoping if I changed something it would change back - nope. Now, I can't find my navi system book so I'm not sure if this is something I did by inadvertently changing a setting or if my upper display screen is simply fubar'd. Anyone got an idea? Thanks.

Yep, this happened to me, replaced under warranty. Just make sure they don't let the trunk monkey pull your HU - they effed my dash up.
