I've got 97 2.2 CL so it's not a Bose system.

Now my question to you is....

Should I upgrade my stock speakers?

If yes, with which ones (brand & kind)?

Both front and rears?

My budget's tight as the system itself is costing me about $1250 (all inclusive) so I'm looking at <$120 for speakers, if at all.

Very nice unit, I am thinking of one myself. To be honest with you, I don't even think $120 will do for one speaker. I had the Alpine IVA-C800 on my 03 CL-S and the sound was great, but it still needed something better to push the power. I would personally go with MB Quarts or Diamond Audio for Alpine. There are others out there that are better of course, but the best ban for the buck are these IMO, and they are more than $120 each.
