Upgrade subwoofer

Has anyone tried upgrading the subwoofer in your TL's by placing a new, more powerful woofer in the existing stock woofer housing???

noone makes a 9" subwoofer that I know of so there would have to be modifications to the deck. I am thinking about doing this also eventually.
