What gets me about ca is 1. scammers, and 2. bull shit. Someone in Chicago put it the best: "if you want to be entertained for a day, go to ca. If you just want info, go to CACO"

1300W Rms? $100? something seems fishy... O.o But, maybe not...What kind of amp would I need to power one of these? Would it be a good idea? what do you think of the sub?

You put 1300 real watts to that sub and you'll be seeing the magic smoke... But since everyone knows the magic smoke equals deeeebeeezzzz, you'll be loud as hell...

heh, same here...anywho...i'm not really seeing the problem with the dual 12" kickers...hooked to a 1000W RMS amp they seem like they'd be loud :/ At least louder than my craptastic e's

The thing is you can get better sounding, louder subs for less money. What's your total budget for this setup? Also, are you planning on doing any kind of electrical upgrades? If you're wanting to run north of 1000w, you'll need some electrical backup...

My budget would have to be....for a box, sub(s), and amp....around 500...I'm not planning on, or at least hoping not to do any electrical backup stuff (cap's, ect).

Or you could pick up a couple 10" SSD's, if Randy has any more for sale, for ~$220. Then, grab a similar Sundown 1200 or so for another $200-ish. Then that leaves you $80 for a box and wire. $40 or so for a box, and about $40 for a wiring kit, and you're money...

You might even be able to get away with 1 good 10" sub, and some good power (something similar to the 1200D)...

Yeah, 1508's should be around $200 or so. And for around $150, you should be able to find a decent amp to power it. That leaves a whole other $150 for a box and wire and such... Should be a solid setup. I know I'm planning a 1508T with power from a SounDigital 400.1. Should be a nice small setup to fit under the back seat of his F-150.

www.ddaudio.com... That's the site. Click Products, then Subwoofers. It'll bring up a bunch of subs listed there, click the 1500 series. You'll see a list of specs on the right side. That'll show you the specs of the 1508, 1510, and 1512. The 1508 would be a solid choice with around 500w or so. Should be a pretty nice setup, in the right box...

You can buy straight from DD if there's no distributor near you, IIRC. There's no dealer near me either.

So....this: http://www.amazon.com/Phoenix-RSDC10...d_bxgy_e_img_a (one sub)

Plus this: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...TM6BW&v=glance

= louder than my type e's? I'd think so. Solid construction, more watts, ect.
