Two 12' Alpine subs help

I'm considering getting two of these subs:
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...+-TYPE+R-.html
And this amp:
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...MRP-M1000.html
I also have 4 of these speakers in my front and rear seats:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Infinity....9cf&cp=1&lp=1
And I have this head unit:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Alpine+-...ne%20dgc%20102
Sorry for all the links, but. Would this setup be able to run the subs properly? would i need anything else? enclosure and all that i know, but how do the watts look?

Thanks for the help, community!

If that's the setup you're going with, might I suggest finding it on craigslist or kijiji in your area and save a bunch of money. Very common combo that can be found for sale everywhere.
+1 on getting a box made, sealed or ported. There must be local guys that can do it for you cheaply. You just need to look and/or call around.

269 does 1200 x 1 @ 1 ohm.. and is extremelyyyy tiny
STL1.1200D - Soundstream Monoblock 1200 Watt RMS D Class Stealth Power Amplifier

This is one of the better prefabs on the market...currently using one in my mothers accord with a ssa icon.

when i got the box, it had bracing inside and seemed well constructed.

it's better in price, as well as the subs watts, but since i'm only using one as opposed to two subs, they wont be as loud as the two r's because of the difference in cone surface area is that right? more bass, yes, but not as much volume?

nah they wont be louder than the r's but they'll get lower and sound worlds better in the right box

same for the rsdc

Okay, 1: Does that amp have the capability to push two of the rsdc subs? if not, which one can? And 2: Where can i find a ported box like that, but with dual sub slots? I mean two of the type r's are 1000W RMS and one rsdc is only 600.

that amp will get 2 of them moving...they can take up to 1300 each so they'll def be begging for more power. but then more power=more strain on your electrical=more you have to spend.

i don't know of any good prefabs for the r's

yuck man those are some low end products all of it. But hey it's your ride i'd rather spend the moneys on good quality stuff. If all else buy used stuff thats top notch and really wang. Get a used sundown saz1500d 1500 rms for 300 and do 2 decent subs not this stuff but like i said it's ur system

1- no not to low end but better out there for the money oh yes
2-not low end price wise but for the money there is way way way better out there
3-yes low end actually trash style low end

but would it sound ok for him to use and would he be happy yes i would imagine so. But since im use to top of the line audio to me yea it's low end. But I do agree if hes wantin a budget system thats a way to go

what's top of the line to you, may not be top of the line to me..great products also cost alot of coin. can you put together a better setup for 507?

what are we basing this on, though? spl? sq?

as far as spl goes, the type x isn't suited for that. will it get loud in the right install? hell yes..will it sound good doing it? absolutely

same goes for the rsdc..can you find a better 12 for <117 dollars? i don't think so next best thing will probably be the dayton ho but that goes for 150.

oh yeah, those sound stream amps are pretty nice..they do rated power and are extremely tiny..

well like I said if he wants a decent system for cheap yea he can go this route and be happy. As for my top of the line well currently I run all sundown gear saz2000d with a 18" nightshade before that i had dc audio before that i had dd audio. To anyone that knows audio thats about as high end as it goes. also there is fi re and others. But again on the cheap for a system he should go with what you listed if it makes him happy then great.

Also I do have to apologize I did respond rather harsh and thats my bad just been one of those days.

It's all good lol

but on the top of the line comment, the nightshade isn't even top in it's class...what about the warden? re xxx? xcon? dc level 5? dd z18?

nightshade is a hell of a sub, though

Eggy, Z18 =/= daily sub... Not even sure if the warden can be used daily. The lvl 5 is a step above the nightshade, sure, but it's built for more power, especially if you get Rusty to throw those sexy ass high roll surrounds on there. The lvl 5's are also more of an SPL sub. While yes, the XXX, NS, and xcon can be used for SPL, they're more designed for daily groundpouding, whereas the lvl5 is intended for either big power daily or SPL. Can't much compare the subs there buddy...

Yeah Brian, I've been doing some research on another possible project for the Acura. Yet another 1-of-a-kind thing to do to mine. Fortunately, this one has more functionality than the stereo. Beats are nice, but being able to see in the dark is even better...

Don''t worry dude, you're not the only one... Only 2 people from this site know what's going on, and only 1 of those still posts... I'm hoping I'll be able to afford it, with competition season coming up. Hell, we've got a 3x here on January 2nd. I'd like to have a D3100 by then, but I dunno if it's going to happen or not... That's some serious change...

For the time being when the next shows comes up my budd is gonna let me borrow another saz2000d and 2 spv70's should make the lil ns scream bloody murder on burps. and if she blows well then it's recone time. And a lil secret in the midst im swapping out the d2 ns for a d1 ns. gonna run .5 daily hehe

No surprise... I run my 1500D at .5 daily, and it does so no problem... Pound on it pretty good for 10-15 minutes, and she's still nice and cold... I love Sundown amps. And the Z15 I used was a beast. It sounded amazing, got low and loud, and took good power. very nice sub, especially now that Jacob's clearing them out...

You can get a much better amp for that $260... Check out audio forums, such as caraudioclassifieds.org. There's always some good deals on there...

The kicker stuff is decent and im sure you would be happy with it. The absolute one im not so sure about yea it says it's 1800 watts but really come on now no way and for that price it's prob trash and i doubt anyone will dissagree with me there. But yea x2 on joining a caraudio site like said caraudio.com/forums is a good one as is the one posted by Matt you can learn much more there than here(about audio)im also on both under the same name.

ca.com's not bad, but i hate all the scammers and bull shit. CACO is better for actual information. I'm on both as well, but if you find my post counts, you'll see which I'm on more. Username: 98AckCL23
