tweeter crossover

I'm adding tweeters to my stock system. Just splicing them into the speaker cables. Im just confused about the crossovers. One pair of tweeters have a cross over network another set has a built in crossover. Whichone is better ?

thanks

You'll have to be a lot more discriptive of the xovers. Are they 2-way or just a HP? Slope? Values? Component quality? Anymore info?
The best answer is to try both and let your own ears tell you which sounds the best.

usually the cheaper models have inline/built-in crossovers, there are less pieces to install and it's inexpensive. i'd probably pay more.
