TSX--IPOD adapter question

I've got a 2005 TSX (without navigation) with XM. My local audio installer thinks he could install a pair of auxilliary RCA jacks by putting a splitter in from the wires that lead from the CD changer to the head unit. Does anyone know if this will work properly? Thanks

The CD changer and headunit are all of piece. If he's talking about tapping into the XM lines, then that should work. It has been done before. Do a search for posts by CJams. Or hit him up. He'll lace you up
