TL Dash kits
I don't know if this is the right forum for this but I thought it might be of interest to those doing stereo installs.
I found a site that has the matching synthetic black burlwood interior components.
As a matter of fact, they make kits for doing the ENTIRE dash. You'll have to see it to understand.
Here's the link: http://www.motorcars-ltd.com/dash-ki...-dash-kits.htm
I'm going to find out about pricing tomorrow. I can't decide if it's overkill or not.
What do you think?
Oh $hit, I didn't realize they were sold in the accessory part of this website!
Well, I'm still interested to see what people think about the overkill factor. It wouldn't be cheap.

Three Wheelin'
In my opinion the dark color dash kit looks real bad when taken to that kind of excess. I have the burly wood tan interior and when i ordered a trim kit, i didnt use the pieces that go on the upper part of the dash around the gauges and climate controls because i though it was overkill. I just used the parts for the console area and by the door window switches.
The dark wood looks even worse.

I'm glad it's not just me. You can get them pretty cheap on Ebay though.
I guess if it was real wood it might make a difference.
Oh well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If anyone has already done this and likes it, pay no attention to us. If you like it, then that is what matters.
Cheers.

:yack: Why would you want more bowling ball trim than what came with the car? I wanted to have the stock pieces painted but i was quoted $400 by a body shop and he wouldn't even take off or put the pieces on.

I think the black wood is OVER KILL!!!:bigun2: :chainsaw:
I like the brushed aluminum with the black wood. I wouldn't put the whole kit, just parts of it. What do you guys think of the aluminum with the black wood? Someone on Cardomain has it and I think it look HOT!
