Thoughts on this new Blitzsafe adapter?

http://enfigpics.com/shopsite_sc/sto...K1_V2_NAV.html

I had trouble finding information on this. To me it looks someone with navi would get this adapter and the SNHOND3 adapter and be all set. Yes?

For review, one of those 2 connectors would go into the head unit and the other into the SNHOND3 adapter?

*trying to make sense of all this before I spend monies*

For quick reference, I don't care if I lose XM. I never use it anyways.

Oh blitzsafe kills me! They were suppose to have this bish out over a month ago. Now they list it on the site for pre orders. I wonder if they have even started designing it yet or if they are going to wait to see of they get enough pre orders to make it worth while.

I bet the 2006's hit the lot before they get this bish out. Then you won't need it since the 06 comes with an aux input adapter in the arm rest.

It says they have already been shipped and that that supplier (enfig) already received a working sample unit.
If I just need this part and that's it, I'll be a happy camper.

That's what it's supposed to do...no SHOND3 needed. I have mine on backorder too.

The description says I MUST disconnect the XM. Would I lose any other navi functionality? say... touchscreen?

The whole purpose of this adapter is to KEEP XM! I think they mean you disconect the XM plug and connect this plug in line with it. Those 2 plugs on the right are the same size as the XM plug on the bottom of the Head unit. I don't know what that other white cable is though. I think it's specifically for an ipod or something cause I don't see no stinkin rca jacks!

Yeah the only thing I can correctly identify in the pic is that the leftmost cable is an iPod cable. The rightmost jacks I assume just plug into the head unit.

Everyone buy their kits from that site while it's still 69.99 instead of 89.99.

I could have sworn I have heard a similar story before.....like 10 times. I will believe it when I see it.

Yeah that's what I thinking too? Isn't the purpose to keep xm? Elduderino, can you confirm this, am I going to be able to keep XM if I purchase this?

[edit]
Wait, never mind this is only for Ipods, not normal audio inputs.

I'll find out soon enough. I was under the impression it was controls as well. If not, I'm a sad panda.

I think that Blitz is now shipping a Honda/Acura iPod unit and an aux in unit. But as far as I have been told, it is NOT compatible with XM It will work on 2004 TSX but not 2005 unless XM is disco'd.

That's my 0.02.

No, I started ignoring it when I was told it wouldn't work in 04s. I bet it has DMX in the number tho.

But it bet its a HON/M-LINK1 V.2 or HON/M-LINK1 V.2NAV

bump?
If this workson an 04 TSX + navi, I'd rather get this than a SNHOND3 since I'll probably get a nano soon.

Yeah I've pretty much said "screw this" on the blitzsafe... I'll be giving the PIE HON03/PC-PIOX adapter a shot, instead.

You can check out this thread I started on Blitzsafe's forums. I reccomend registering and posting like crazy so they get the idea there is demand for this adaptor that is XM compatible.
