Give the guy a break...Geez. Like he said, the dash kit isn't finished.
That 4.100 is an awesome amp. I listened to it the other day at the shop driving 4 type R components....very nice. The birth sheet rated it at 123 watts per channel. The PDX 1.600 probably puts out around 700 watts RMS. What's the recommended RMS of the 10 W3?
Are you going with a sealed or ported enclosure? What are you going to do with the rear door speakers...just unplugging them? I might would think about replacing the rear doors, and trashing the 6x9's. They make a coaxial type R that would fit in the rear doors. You could leave the back dash open to the trunk....the sub may sound better, and with the grills in place no one would ever know. Just have them stretch some cloth over the holes.
It should sound very nice...good luck.

You are correct! Faceplate is far from done!! Just temporary until next week or so when it gets wrapped in leather.
I would have gone with JL Audio (big fan) but got an awesome deal on all these Alpine speakers! To good to pass up!

Type-Rs arent bad, but I have my Type-X and im not going back............... the amp is alot of power for those speakers, ALpines dont hond too much power like my Type-X components only handle around 75W, while my Kappas on the rear deck take around 110........ and that is WAY too much power for that sub, honestly I wouldnt run a W7 on that much less a W3
nevermind on closer inspection those speakers will handle 110 ishW, so 100 is fine

Yo Classy, do that CL some justice man and get Uncald4 to conjure up one of those flawless dash kits he makes. Can't beat a factory looking dash kit. I think the leather will look out of place up there.
Btw, nice choice on head unit selection. What add ons do you have?

Not looking to impress people, just looking for a decent setup. This system is not intended to be in competition, just wanted a little something that when needed it is there!
