Is there a way to switch between aftermarket subs and stock subs?

Is there a way to switch between aftermarket subs and stock subs?
I just had two 12" Polkaudio Subs in a box put in my car with a JL1400 amp with them. I was wondering if there was a way to be able to switch between the stock subs and my new subs when I want. Someone told me that I could get a toggle switch to switch between power on the stock subs and my subs, but I dont know how or anything. Help?
