system on a 99 3.0CL

im thinking of getting a new HU, amps, subs, and speakers. Bascially getting a new sound system. Cept, my friend tells me that i can just keep my speakers, and all i have to do is get a new hu, a couple subs and an amp or two and ill be set.

Is this a good idea? to keep bose speakers and just add an amp, subs, and HU?

Or should I rip out the bose system, and replace EVERYTHING?

and can you guys recommend some amps, subs, speakers, hu?

The Bose speakers suck. As a matter of fact, they are just plain shitty. Rip out everything. Keep for when you sell the car tho...
