Subwoofer Issue

What's going on? In my previous car I had a 1 12" Kicker Comp VR, which I currently transfered into the TL. For the time being I want to have extra bass in my car, untill I dont get JL's. Im keep everything stock just adding the same woofer but im using the line outpout convertor.. I ran all my wires but I just have two questions.. 1st) Everything turned on, but subwoofer isn't working... The convertor is spilced into the sotck 9", but the 9" works, 12" doesnt. Any ideas?
2nd) I need a proper fuse location for the rem wiring to go.. I wanted to use a cigrate lighter but I couldnt find it, I checked on the fuse boc but nothing there. I believe its 12V you need.

1999 3.2 TL. Thanks!!

I'm not quite following you. You're tapped into the input for the stock sub for the high-level input on your sub amp, correct? Or are you trying to drive the Comp VR using the stock amp, as well as the stock 9"?
