Has anybody's subwoofer started to distort? Mine is distorting when its on volume 5. Car is 2 months old. The dealership shouldnt give me any trouble getting it replaced , right? I hope not! I guess these speakers arent designed for volume levels over 25. If they replace my subwoofer I will keep volume level to a minimum.

 

Dumb question, are you sure it is the sub and not the back deck vibrating and buzzing? A few people, myself included, have had back deck issues under moderate bass. Took 2 visits and 5 screws for them to quiet mine down, and that had tried replacing the sub and the center seat belt assmbly as well.
