subwoofer

the woofer in our 3.2( 2002 and 2003 models)..i would like to replace a woofer of 8 inch with a good supportive amp..it is possible...

If you a search RMB8 you can find everything you are looking for, but here are the basics:

Stock sub is 9" with a mounting depth of 2 1/2" so your options are limited. Owners have done the RMB8 conversion with success, and there is one that I know of that did a 10" conversion (requried moving the torsion bars). I removed my torsion bars in hopes of fitting a sub there, only to find out that was a BAD idea...the gas strut I installed works, but its not pretty (although it will be covered up by my audio install this weekend).
