I was just wondering if anyone put a aftermarket sub in the stock compartment. I Bose is ok but I want something that hits harder. Any pics???

if you want to replace it with a better free-air sub, use this tread as an example:

if you're looking to replace it with an enclosed setup, then do a search, and you'll find tons of examples.

I've read a number of the threads on this board concerning the swap of an aftermarket sub with the Blose sub. I'd say it's not worth your time unless you're on a VERY tight budget.

I think there are one or two subs out there that fit this space and will operate properly on the free air basis that will be required of them.

What are your goals for your system?

Kicker RMB8 is the sub people used around here. Dr Cook is the one who did it if I remember correctly. And somebody tried Pioneer 10" free air sub also. Putting sub is not worth the effort, cause you really have very limited depth and the stock sub is like 9" wide. Good luck.
