Sub keeps moving!

I have a 12' Sub/Box enclosure in my trunk and it keeps moving around. What have you guys tried to do to stop moving? Use "L" Brackets, bolted down from underneath, velcro, etc...let me know.

use velcro...except don't use the other piece...usually velcro would come with the the sticky 3M attachment sides...just put the sticky side with the little hooks on the bottom of the subs and let it attach to the carpeting...

the industrial strength velco looked like the plastic pieces (whatever the velcro part is called) were pretty damn short... would it catch onto the carpet? the reason why i didnt get it...
i bought some other kind from home depot which doesnt work well, or maybe my trunk carpet is going bad.

I thought about trying velcro too. I just don't like the idea of stickin it to my JL prowedge and trunk tray. It doesn't stay put at all on that trunk tray. Any other Alternatives?

you could screw it down with L brackets. But, if you dont want to stick anything on the box or tray, then i doubt you'd want to drill holes through it

I use L brackets and they work perfectly. I also have used cables screwed into each side of the box and connected to points on the back of the rear seat. That still moved a little, but with the new L brackets there is no movement at all.

I heard that buying a rubber shower mat and placing the sub box on that will not move around.

I solved my problems with rope (06 TSX). I screwed some eyelet hook thingies into my box. Then towards where the back seats fold down, there was some sheet metal on the "roof of my trunk" (if that makes sense). There were several holes up there, so I attached two pieces of rope securing the box, so it could maybe slide around 2 inches at most.

2004 TSX - I also used eye hooks screwed into the front of my box and ran a nylon tie down strap through the latch system hooks beneath the seat back cushions. If you drop the back seats, it isn't pretty, but there is no way in hell that box will ever move.
