Hey guys I have a 350w Alpine amp with an Infinity Perfect 10", and on Friday when i was playing my music, the bass suddenly stopped working, so i go to my trunk to see whats wrong. All the wire are connected and everything looks good. But I found out that when I push the sub in a little bit with my fingers, it starts to work again. But when I let go it stops, what can this problem be?

The part where im pressing in is the cone part where it vibrates a lot.

 

sounds like you blew your speaker. how old is it?

 

Its infinity and thats normal. I had 2 Kappa perfects. Where they bought authorized? and under warranty? The lead that goes to the voice coil on those speakers become loose after sometime and what you described above happens. I had 2 kappas in a ported box and my bass would be loud some time and not the other and after sometime I figured what happen and got some free replacements.

I got a JL 10W6v2 and Polk momo 10s for sale.
