Sub firing into cabin?

Has anyone set up a system with the sub sealed into the cabin? How about just firing in into the cabin?

I have mine in the trunk. It is small enough that I could aim it at the pass through hole and remove some of the trunk material to allow more sound to at least hit the rear seat. I have always prefered systems this way and wondered if anyone had ideas for accomplishing this.

The owner of the shop that installed mine also have a TL and he has 1 JL sub firing through the pass through...really the only thing is does good is give you some more space and less trunk rattle. I would do the same if I only had 1 sub. With the armrest closed it still sounds good.

My newest setup has my Diamond TDX firing forward but, it is ported up thru the factory sub hole. I can lower the armrest and get a bit of a bass boost but, without it, it is still enough bass for me.
