Sub broken tinsel lead

Sub broken tinsel lead

So i have a sub that the tinsel lead appears to have "melted" on....

Can this be fixed?

The sub is an adire audio brahma btw. Iv had it prolly 5 years or so

that is a common repair. i used to do it and is pretty basic. there are many speaker repair places but i dont know where you are located. speakerworks in orange, ca can do it or orange county speaker in garden grove. you can try local stereo shops too.

i live in santa cruz, but work in fremont/bay area.

You know any shops around the bay area that would handle this? I tried the shop that did my install (honestly not impressed by them, they insisted on using JL Cleansweep crap even though it kept frying) and they didnt want to touch it (would prolly rather sell me a woofer)

worse comes to worse, you can send it out to someone for a recone.

Any ideas of anyone in the bay area that does that? Shipping on this thing is like $50 each way...hard to justify 100+ repairs
