I have 97' CL. I want to get Sub-woofer.
I've never upgraded car stereos in the past.
I just want to get sub , but I don't know which to get. There are various sizes, bigger means bigger sound??

What are the price ranges? If I get one from Ebay and install in local stereo shop, how much would they charge?

Do i also have to get AMP to install Sub? Or is there line for Sub on the stock deck?

Anyone know max watt for 97 stock bose speakers?

Your question is way too general, but i'll try. First, no headunit has power for a sub. You will have to get an amp. Second, you need to tell me how much you want to spend for everything (sub, amp, box, install). Third, what type of music do you listen to (rock, rap, etc) and then I would be able to give you better advice.

 

if this is your first system, then i would suggest something like a 10 with maybe only 500 watts or so, something clean and crisp but enough to give ya some bump... as knuggs said you need to provide more info about what you want from the system.
