Re: StreetEffectz - IDMax

That amp is not "1500w". I used to own one although it is a good amp, it is a little over priced IMO. You could get two IDMax dual 4 ohm's and wire them in parallel/parallel and get a 1 ohm load. This opens up your options to using a Class D amp. Try the DEI 1100d, Memphis Studio 1000d, or something along those lines. Or you could go really crazy and get the dual 2ohm IDMax's and wire the in parallel and get two 1 ohm stable class d amps and use one for each sub

Try giving us a price point. I am guessing you are looking for SPL from the choice of subs, so give us a budget and we will help you out!

how bout this
with 2500 to burn and probably 500 from the sale of my current system, i think along the lines of 3000$

first of all i need a head unit, preferably a fold out 7" lcd pioneer or alpine

this leaves about 2000 for the wiring and mounting of the two subs and an amp

hope this helps you out

We're still working on setting something up with ID, but in the meantime, that Alpine amp, the 1507, would run in the $500 area, but I THOUGHT they discontinued it.
