Pretty sweet. How does this all work? When I replace my HU, can I control volume/ CD selection with the stock wheel controls?

 

just curious.. what is PESWIX?

 

PESWIX is an adapter that works in conjunction with Acura factory steering wheel controls. Based on a resistance measured in (Ohms) that is triggered when a factory button is pressed, the adapter generates an IR signal that you can program based on an aftermarket HU headunit, for example, aftermarket volume + and - can be programmed with the factory button. It has a transmitter just like remote control and acts to replace your factory remote for certain programmed functions.

The PESWIX also comes with a resistor network, where you can add other buttons, just like I have.

Cool mods. I wanna do that to my Tl but I don't know anyone who will do that for me. I might have someone but not sure yet.

 

My audio guy said that he will look at it first and then he'll decide.
