Ok well here is the situation. I have some people that can get me the Clarion amps, speakers, and subs at cost ( not the retail was that high to begin with) and I am looking at dropping four DVC 10"s in my trunk, the only problem is I can't find specs on them anywhere.
Here is what I knowthe sub runs 400w "maximum music power" Now i am assuming that means it is 200w @ 4ohms to each Voice coil and there for I should be able to run 1 APX400.4 bridged to 2 channels per sub. only think is that adds up to 5 rather big 4 channel amps.
In another setup I am looking at i am thinking about two DVC 10's or 12's ( the power ratings are almost identical) and then using 3 APX 400.4s I want to put the subs in a sealed box so I can have more room for the amp rack. the main question is how many Capacitors would I need and how would the best way to wire them in be?
also, clarion's website was no help other than getting me retail prices. . . .
