I just bought the CBP TSX 06 with stock navi and i am looking to upgrade the speker setup. i am not sure how many watts it has now and where to start first.

Do i look for a amp first or speakers?

What will fit and how many watts RMS?

Do i even need an amp? It is a "Premium Set"

Will i need to cut?

Can i get the component set? Should i? Crutchfield?

I am new to the TSX and i am looking to upgrade the speakers. I use to have a TL 2003. Great car BTW.
But i had to cut the doors and do crazy stuff to it. I dont want to do that to the TSX, i want a stock looking set but with club sound.

Nice i was thinking the same thing. Without taking apart my whole car.. And be able to still use my navi screen to set up bass ect..

Same here, i think i can manage to put new speakers myself. I know a lot of ppl. are mentioning putting an amp but putting new speakers will also be an upgrade over the default ones! Correct???
