I am new to this forum.... Juts got my 2000 TL a week ago. Sweet car!
CD player pisses me off though.
I've been reading about hooking up Alpine s634 mp3 changer via KCA-130B cable to Blitzsafe adapter, which goes into cd changer port in the back side of stock HU. I want to go for it - no FM modulation required.
I was wondering if anyone was successful with sticking Alpine CRA-1667RF somewhere in the middle.
That would be great! I would be able navigate through MP3 folders and will not be limited to stock HU display and controls.

If anyone knows a good place in Toronto to pick up all the parts, please tell me.

If you do installation yourself, is it sufficient enough to only remove wood trim on the right side to plug in Blitzsafe into cd changer port? How do you mount Blitzsafe? Do you use electrical tape or you have to skrew it to something?

i cant help you with all your questions but i had recently asked the same thing. some1 on this forum had answered that you dont have to do the whole process in that DIY site.
according to the member, take the right side panel off
if your facing the head unit its on the bottom right hand side.
possibly in between 2 excisting wires. hopefully im some help, and if not, just follow the DIY info and 10 min. later your done.
