I have a JL 12W6v2 and JL500/1 amp. when i got it installed yesterday, the stereo shop told me that the sub would cut out at volume 30, which it does, then it comes in and out. The LOC is hooked up to stock sub. why would the sub cut out at volume 30 when the amp isn't even turned up all that much? I would appreciate any suggestions.

Pardon my ignorance, but what car? I don't know what AM 2k5 UA6 is.

 

prolly your power wire. mine was doing it at first.. but i jsut grided down a lil under my ground. and that solved my problem.. your supposed to use at least 4gauge wires all around.

 

Sorry for the late ass reply, but i got the problem fixed. The stereo shop said that i had a bad connection for the remote wire. They fixed that and now it sounds awesome!
