Stereo Install Questions?

Gents,

I have searched but not 100% sure if i have the answers i need. Here is going to be my setup:

Alpine HU -
Polk MOMO's 5.25 componets
kicker 700.5 amp
1 10" infinity dvc sub, already mounted in the box ready to go

Now, I have already got the speakers in and mounted, used the factory wiring, to hook into the crossovers, hooked the speakers into the crossovers, have the sub wired and installed in the box - ready to go, got the amp wiring kit through the firewall and ready to hook up, dynomatted the trunk, ran all the speakers wire from the HU harness for each speaker and ran the wire to the trunk along with the preamp wires and sub control.

My question is this, reading about the built in equilizer for the BOSE system has me concerend for will the bose equilizer be interfering with the way i am setting this system up?, running the door speakers off the factory wiring and then running the wiring to the amp from the hu harness speaker wires?

Hope i made that understandable. Appreciate your insite, half way done with this thing.

If you put an aftermarket headunit, the Bose Equilizer will not affect your system.

^^^^makes sense unless you are planning on using the EQ somehow.

ok, i just wanted to make sure that the stock speaker wireing didn't go through the bose eq b/c i did see it screws aftermarket speakers up. only thing stock i am using is the wiring in the door, as much as i didn't want to, i caved in. most people though said its not much difference.

you shouldn't have a problem. I replaced my headunit and speakers while keeping the stock speaker wires and everything worked out alright!
