Stereo Battery
I have a pretty simple question- I did a little search not much help, and I dont trust many guys at the lil car audio shops here. I want to put in better sub, maybe like a W7. I have seen a few on this site with that done, but they had a separate optima battery. How does that work, when the battery dies, is it hooked ot the alt or do you remove and recharge it separatly. Is it needed or would aalt recoilling/ rebuild (high volt) be a better option. Thanks for the help in adv.

I would recommend if you're only running one 12, to get an optima for your main battery. I just got a yellow top deep cycle. And I'm running 2 x 12's. Also, if you are concerned about the load, throw a farrad cap in there. I just picked up a 3 farrad capacitor with a built in fuel cell.
