Steering wheel radio controls

If I install a new HU in my TL, will I lose the ability to use the steering wheel controls?

Not if you buy a seering wheel control adapter. PAC makes one. You can get one installed at Street Effectz in NJ : )

Thanks.....Do most audio installation shops have this adapter on hand? I'm not installing the unit myself.

Is this piece a reasonably easy install or is it something best left to professionals?

I have one in my Honda Pilot. Works pretty good. not great. I did not install it but, from reading the install sheat, it should not be too difficult. Basically, it is like a learning remote control.
