I've been working up enough money to buy some upgrades for my new '03 CL Type-S. Definitely getting an amp.. though I was wondering.. should I get speakers or a subwoofer? If speakers, what kinds? If I get a sub, I was thinking about a JLW7. Basically, I don't want to dish out money for both at the moment, and I was wondering which would be a better upgrade to get. Thanks for the help guys.

 

I would suggest getting the sub first this way you cover the low frequencies you are missing. Later you can upgrade the lousy frequencies that the stereo has now. Good Luck, Auron and welcome to the CLUB!

 

why don't you just get a different sub and use the extra money for speakers.

 

I would get the subs...I got some temps ones now is an enclosure and I'm glad I did....then get the speakers...for these I would go with Focal.
