Speaker Wire Gauge

Just looking for a recommendation of what gauge of speaker wire to get for my 6.5s and 6x9s. Eventually, I will have an amp running about 50x4 RMS. I was thinking 12 gauge should be plenty. Any comments? Thanks.

I agree. Stick with the 12, just incase there's a larger amp in the future. Rewiring is a bitch, especially through the doors.
