I have some JL tr650's on the way for the front and rear doors for my 2004 tsx. I have been searching for what spacers I will need, I have seen where people are installing polk db650 with 1/2 mdf spacers and looked up on polk for their mounting depths

Driver Mounting Depth
Top Mount 2" (5.08cm)
Bottom Mount 2-5/16" (5.87cm)

the jl tr650 has a mounting depth of 2.44, so I'm wondering if I should try and make some that are 5/8" or 3/4". I have the ability and access to a cnc machine so making them isn't the problem, hopefully i can buy mdf in these thicknesses. Any info is appreciated.
