Speaker Input or RCA Input on Aftermarket Amps?

umm...i recently installed a Pioneer Premier 4 ch. amp hooking the back 6x9s (kenwood 6907) with the first 2 ch. and bridged other 2 ch. for a JL 12w6. I didn't use a LOC because the amp comes with speaker input, so basically i just bridged the wires from the back 6x9s and plug them into the speaker input. The whole system sounds ok. but my problem is that my 6x9s in the back r getting lot of hissing sound when i turn up the gain to match up the volume with the front speakers. can some1 please help me with that? my friend told me to use the rca input with a Line Output Converter. If so, where can I find a good quality LOC? And how are the monster standard rca cables? thanks.

I'm not sure what the hissing sound could be...make sure you have the + & - on the wires hooked up properly. Also make sure that the frequencies on your amp are set properly.

About the LOC, go to any local car audio shop and purchase one...I think they're around $20.

About the RCA cables, monster has always made good wiring products. Just make sure when you run your rca cables that they're not near your ground, power or speaker wire.

Sounds like the speaker inputs of the amp need more drive and your S/N is down. With a transformer isolated LOC w/gain control it should be a cakewalk to match levels to the line inputs.
IMHO, any interface between a Bose amp speaker output should be isolated via a transformer LOC.
