Hi...i need you guys help. i have money budget of arounnd 800$ for my new sound system. i want to know which one should i get fo my 98 2.3 CL, Inifinity Perfect 6.1/ or Infinity Perfect 5.1? for my rear speakers im going to get Infinity Kappa 693.5i.

Also for my sub i have 3 subs in mind...as i am only thinking to spend around 150$ for a 12' sub. 12 w3v2/ 12w6(cuz i cant afford w6v20)/ or 12' HX2 RFD 2212 ......can you guys help me which front speakers and which sub i should get?

also for the amp im getting performance somthing no name brand amp.....they are extremely cheap and my friends has it and it does sound pretty decent and good....

can you guys plz help me? i really appreciated =D

 

kinda depends if you want sound quality or spl. for 150 you can get an xtant x model from ebay and those sound better than the rf and jlw3v2. oh if u have a buddy that works in car audio, he have get the w6v2 for 220 at cost. if u do than get that instead. for speakers i saw ditch the back speakers if u want sound quality. alot of the greatest sounding cars out there only invest on front speakers. for 200 bucks you can get the alpine spx-177a or some kinda mb quart p-series or the one below it. CDT, A/D/S, maybe some entry level focals, errrr some others.

is the amp precision performance?? cuz those aren't that cheap =)

if you want spl than get speakers that can match up with your subs and if you want spl get the rf since thats what they are good for. for speakers i would get mb quart since at high volumes they are very defined and it won't be drowned out by the subs like the infinities would

 

hmmmm but i see alot of people getting INFINITY speakers..and my friend had infinity rear and front speakers with only 12w3 in his car...and damn...that shit bumped soooooo clean...i wuz like u sure dis is only w3? and he was like yes...and said its also because of my speaker it sounds clean ...

and i definately set my mind on infinity speakers.....

and im also thinking to get W6 regular because i cant afford W6V2 i dont think.......

does any one know wut infinity speaker will fit in my car (perfect 5.1 or 6.1) and if u do ...can u tell me how to install meaning i hear something about cutting something to install 6.1 ...
can u detaily tell me what has to be done and stuff???

the stock acura bose speakers sound suprisingly good with an amp on them.
try a five channel amp on the stock speakers and add a subwoofer first, to see if you like it, you might not have to replace your speakers.

 

i dont think my 98 2.3 CL comes with BOSE speakers.....
and as the speakers right now...it sounds VERY BAD.......

i set my mind on getting infinity perfect 5.1 or 6.1 but i need to find someone who had installed those speakers before to know if there was any fitment issues that i need to know and that i need to do.....

if any one can help i would be very thankful
