Sound deadening?

I feel like spending money, so I am planning on puttings Alpine type-s's in, components up front and regular in the back doors. I already have my Boston Acoustics 6x9's in the back (Bass is much cleaner), and I'm gonna get a new Alpine 220W mono amp for my old (reallll old) JL 10's

I was wondering if it is worth doing the sound deadening since im gonna have the doors apart anyway. Dynamat is way more than I would like to spend, so I was leaning towards E-Dead SE. But I have heard some people say that it smells, others that it doesnt stick well.

I am just planning on doing the doors at this point. So, is it worth it to spend the extra money (and time) to deaden the doors? How much difference should I expect? Is E-dead worth getting? or am I headed in the wrong direction?

Thanks,
--Nick

Yes, it's worth deadening the doors. Especially, the front doors. Maybe check out Fat Mat or Brown Stuff, I think those are the names.
