i need some advice, i want to make the system louder basically, not soo much base that it rattles the whole car, just louder all around. what can i do? thanks

you could add an amp, or change the factory speakers. That would help, or I would also recommend getting a set of components.

I agree with Woodsdaddy. Go for components in the front. I'm not sure what you have in the rear, but if they are 6x9's go for three ways for better over all sound. The Infinity Kappa series put out high quality sound.

 

IMHO, after hearing the MB QUartz (list price ..more than I can afford), I would say buy them at whatever price you can get them.

Even the 4" that I considered buying for space restrcition in my other car) blew me away, with sound volume and quality matching or exceeding the TS series pioners I had which were the 6 1/2's. Pretty hot speaker, very efficient too I suppose..Best thing to do is listen for yourself though...Being that I had tight systems in all my cars in 'younger' days, I find myself increasingly saying..'what's that? huh?
