Sony Ericsson HCB-30

i've been thinking about adding bluetooth, and came across 2....the sony HCB-30 and motorola HFW-8000. anyone have the motorola?

how big is the sony? i've been looking @ reviews, but no one says anything about it. and the pic from sony doesn't really gauge the size. anyone willing to post a pic of how it looks mounted?

i have the HBC-30 and its hardwired into the speaker on the drivers side. it works perfectly. i dont know what the motorola one has but i know for a fact the sony works with about every brand of bluetooth phone.

I have a HBC-30 as well. It works well, but I have two problems. First, I need to do what BM has done as get rid of the speaker it comes with and wire it to something else. Second, I need figure out a better was of doing the mute. I have always been convinced that you can use the factory radio's mute lead, but I have not gotten a chace to try it since it is really hard for me to remove the radio.

came across this while researching car kits. not sure how well it works, since i haven't found any reviews of it. or if our radio has a "standard rectangular 8-pin ISO"

I have the same question. I know the TSX does not have the standard cable they are talking a bout, but that doesn't mean that it will not work. BM, is this what you used?

no i didnt use that but from the looks of it i think its just a relay and from the looks of that small plug it would plug directly into the speaker output of the HBC30.
had i known i could get that for 39 bucks i might have opted to go that route rather than making my own.
