Sonic Electronix Order Nightmare
Okay, so i ordered a complete system for my CL including Components, Coaxials, Amp, Subs, etc.. came out to about 970 dollars. I was contacted two days later by Sonic asking me to verify the address on my credit card (understandable). I called the credit card company the next day, got that fixed, and called Sonic back and got it verified. They said that my order would be on the way and i wouldnt have to do the fax verification. After about 4 days of checking the status of the order and it still saying "processing", i call them back and they tell me i must. By this time i'm kind of annoyed.. About 4 days after i do that, it still hasnt been shipped out, so i cancelled the order I guess i'm just mad because college starts soon and i was hoping to get this stuff in beforehand, but wow.. 8 business days had gone by and still not shipped. That's my last time going to sonicelectronix, even if they are the cheapest.

I got my amp from Sonic just fine, within a few days.
On the other hand, I'm embroiled in this fiasco with another online retailer -- they shipped me a broken amp, I sent it back, they tried unsuccessfully to fix it, they charged me for shipping for a new replacement, and the package was stolen when they shipped it. It's been months since I first ordered the amp, so consider yourself lucky.

I had long ship times as well from Sonix Electronix (5 days before order shipped out). On top of that, I realized I no longer needed the part I ordered ($70 part), and they charge a $15 restocking fee! I didn't even bother removing the shrinkwrap. Cheapest is not always the best; I should have just paid more from Crutchfield from the start, who has a much better return policy.
