1. Support XM Radio (no modulator)
2. CDR/RW/MP3/WMA
3. Best possible sound with factory bose system

Recommendations? (Model numbers are great!)

I haven't been keeping myself up to date on the headunits..

Personally I would look at features along with what you want. Almost everything you mentioned above has all those features besides some may have Sirius instead of XM. The little things will narrow your selection more and more.

I know some headunits have a IPod hookup and some SD cards etc etc etc.. Many features..

I'd look more into the features and the brand you like and/or are familar with and go from there.
