Since I can't Get into the CL Forum-I have to Ask Here...What Would You Guys Suggest?
I want to put Two Subs and an Amp in my CL. A Friend of mine says that because the the car is so soundproof, it will need some serious power to get the bass through. I want to add this to the stock Bose system. I need the Subs to handle the LOW Bass of Rush as well as the double bass of Dream Theater.
Can you guys suggest an Amp and Subs as well as Box options and how the guy needs to wire it all into the Bose system the RIGHT way...no 1/2 ass stuff......Thanks to all....

Well, I have to disagree with the SOUND PROOFING of the CL trunk. We have a 2000 BMW 328ci and it has one of the most sealed trunks for air and sound EVER. We are runnin 2 10" alumapro subs in a sealed enclosure off a phoenix gold zx400ti amp. Ernie (eclipse23) on the CL board also has this setup which we installed and it pounds. I am a big fan of the alumpro/phoenix gold combo.

I can suggest several other combinations by the way.....we all like what we like. It's just I have been installing for quite some time and have used a lot of different setups. It's always good to listen to different setups if there are people in the area and see what you like.
What kind of music do you listen to and what kind of sound do you expect?

ur car is only soundproof on the inside where u sit the doors the floor the firewall , ur trunk is not and it's not airtight so u wouldnt need some serious things to make it pound. jus make sure u get someone who knows what they r doin to do the install
