Just a question.....is it normal for the sideairbag light to come on from time to time? Comes on for a moment and then turns off....

Its quite normal for it to blink on & off a few times if someone in the passenger seat is moving around like leaning foward . It can also come on if the person in the seat is small in size . If you place something in the seat like lap top computer, briefcase, pocketbook small bag might make it also come on. But if it comes on for any other reason byitself with nothing in the seat or you have not like placed you hand over in the seat then something is wrong.
