the 10w7 hits louder than 2 12's... by alot...

the W7 is one of the loudest, tightest, and most efficent subs out there.

well i would pick the w7 if i hadnt bought the w3 already, the question is, are you that unsatisfied with the w3 that you feel the 200 dollar upgrade is needed, (with the 2 w3 the bass is probably already louder then your mids and hights, and the w3 is no sloppy sounding sub)

i know what i just said is probably equalivent to not saying anyhting at all...... but its jusy my 2 cent

personally i think that the 2 10's will always hit harder than 1 10... do to more surface area (able to push more air)... but that is just me...

hey stinkboy, long time no see... thought you only surfed the "other" acura site i was at the orlando meet with the apopka autocross.

No, wont need a bigger amp, i got it covered... a Jl 500/1 is all i need...

i already tested the W7 in the trunk... it hits A LOT harder than the 2 tens now... just wondering if i should try to find a better deal or not?

Personally, Id go with 1 12W7 and a JL 1000x1 amp. I dont think there is a greater combination than that. If you can find a good condition art series a1200 (white amp) then definately use that instead of the new JL1000 but they are extrmemly hard to find in good condition. Yes its an old school amp but in my personal opinion on of the best. The combination I plan on using is the JL1000 and the 12W7.

my opinion get teh 10w7. at first i had 3 10w3s and that sounded good but then got rid of the w3s and got some w6s and htat was ok then i got 2 12s not good enough so i got the 10w7 with the high output box and omg that **** knoccs. with jsut the one 10w7 it knocced mroe then when i had thhe three 10w6s. but yea got rid of that and went with a 12w7 because its more deep. but i only have a 500/1 running it so yea now im getting a 1000/1 so yea it should knocc even more. i should be able to hang with some L7s. L7s are aight they jsut knocc hard and not deep that type of bass succs.

ANDY: Do u have the 12w7 in a sealed or ported. I was gonna do a 1000/1, instead of wasting another 500 on a amp I am gonna do the ported box. I was talking to the guy at Ultimate Audio and they were saying they did a 12W7 with a 500/1 in a custom box and it was louder than 3 W6 with a 1000/1.

I HAVE MY 12 IN A SEALED BOX. I LIKE SEALED BOXES BETTER. WELL TO ME I LIKE THE 12 ON THE 500 BUT ITS NOT ENOUGH SO IM GETTING THE 1000/1. UMM I DONT THINK THAT ONE 12 ON A 500 WOULD BE LOUDER THEN 3 W6 BUT IT DEPENDS IF THERE 10S OR 12S. I THINK THAT IF THEE 3 12S THEN THE 12 WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO HANG IF ITS ONLY ON A 500/1 JUST MY OPINION.

Guys,

Just got the box... yesterday actually... tottaly love it, it was so worth it... ive neber been in to alot of thumping, but i am now and now i want more eheheheh

This sub is so tight, i have it in the sealed box instead of the H.O. ported one they offer. i like my bass real tight... and hot damn, this thing does the job.

Whats funny, is that with the (2) 10w3's up real loud, i had vibrations and trunk rattle like crazy... my valentine 1 actually floated on my windshield. but now, very little trunk rattle, very little floating, but 3 times as loud, and hell, the roof fluctuates like crazy

Damn, now im happy ehehehehehehheheheheh
