short your headunit?
#2
hrmm...sounds like you WANT to do it for some reason...
there is no way to short it out by accident unless you are playing behind the dash trying to install components...and if you have to ask then you shouldn't be installing components anyway Sounds like someone wants to have the dealer warranty their radio.

well... something like that.. my headunit is not as good as it used to be, and i have a warranty on it that would replace it if they can't fix it (with a new, current model). i figure, i paid the extra $90 for the extended warranty, the headunit is about to crap out, and i have a few weeks before its over. i figure i could possibly score a new unit with better features. i know its a little shady.. so don't scold me. i'm just curious. its also good to know so i don't accidentally short my future deck.
