A short vid of the cl's new system

Well here is a short one guys. It's 2 dc sound labs 12's 4 ohm ran by a alphasonik pma1200da at 1 ohm gain at 1/4. Running off stock style battery, and stock hu. I am about to get a kinetik 1800 for the back and a aftermarket hu.Trunk is fully dynamatted as is the deck lid doors and roof. And yet it still shakes all to hell but the rattle is not as bad. Also have 4 cans of expanding foam in trunk area. I am selling the subs and box to get a set to handle more power so i can turn the amp up. http://s79.photobucket.com/albums/j1...t=DSCI0493.flv

Damn dude, selling already? Any idea what you're going to get next? I'm at work so I can't watch the vid, but I'd guess it's pretty impressive... Little tip since from the shot I can see it looks like the windows are down. If you're trying to show roof/windshield flex, roll the windows up and completely seal the car as much as possible... Should make it look more impressive...

Well i just scored a panasonic hu, and am on the hunt for 0 gauge wire. My 4 gauge is getting hot, and failing. This massive beast of a amp needs 0 gauge. So before I compete gotta have that done.

Yeah, 1/0 is a good idea... Since you're adding a big rear batt, you might even want to do 1+ run and 1- run between batts...

Basically, but don't forget your grounds. You're going to want to ground both in front (with factory grounds) and in the back to somewhere in the trunk...

No, you're right. Now you just need grounds in the front and back. The more runs of + and - you have, the easier it is for the electrons to travel through the wire... This means you can draw more current, and more current for a given potential difference (voltage) means more power... And more power is always a good thing...

Try putting your passenger's seat all the way forward, with the head rest all the way down... That's the way I got my best numbers...

Well a little update I am waiting on the guy I bought a cd player from to ship it out, last night I took out the 6x9 bose speakers as there was a terrible popping noise coming from the passenger side area speaker. Only when the trunk lid is closed open it and no noise. So took em out and no popping. With the door speakers already out I'm running off the tweets in the front only lol sounds terrible.
