Security CODE 4 2005' TL RADIo!!!?

I tried to changed my battery and when the new one was installed I reset my clock and turned on my radio:

IT said, ENTER CODE. I tried twice and it says error 2. so I called my local friendly neighborhood dealer and they said bring in the registation and 120 bucks because we have to take it out!

DOES ANYONE KNOW THE STOCK RADIO CODE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

The radio is designed so that if you enter the code wrong enough times, it will lock you out and the dealer will have to unlock it. You should just make sure you have the correct code before entering it in the future.

........i not sure but if the dealer has to take out to get the code you may want to just take the unit out yourself and take to the dealer and have get the code that way.........it would be cheaper..........theres no charge for the labor of taking out the unit..........

dealers are such rip offs

I went to a dealer and one of the guys in the back said, "You just need the code?" So he said acura will charge you a buck (a hundred for those who don't follow slang) but I'll charge you 50 and I won't even have to take the radio out. He pressed some buttons on my radio went to the cpu in the shop came back with a print out, (gave me the print out, I gave him the cash) he typed in the code on my radio, it came back on and I was off.
