HELP!! i wanna put a screen in my car..like that guy that has the pioneer p7300 screen in his dash where the paper thing would be..HOW DID YOU DO IT! I NEED HELP!! i REALLLY wanna do this but no one i've taken the car to has given me a straight yes we can do it or no we can't answer. PLEASE HELP! pics or anything..tell me where i can go?

accually! no not like that i want to get the screen that comes out of the place where our paper holder thing is.. thats what i really want!

 

how did I get it done? I just removed the stock, customized the face plate and stuck that in.
where did I do it? In my garage.
was it hard? yup ... consider it took 4 weeknights and 1 Sat.
how much did it cost? 1300 for the screen, 20-30 for parts, and 2 gallons of sweat.
do I have nav? obviously, no.

If you wanna have it in the post it holder space. It would be a lot harder since that space is small and you will be playing DVD through a FM modulator (which sucks IMO). Good luck with your project.

That's a pioneer P7000 taken apart and modified to work in the CD holder area.

 

Hey streetz how much would you guess something like that costs to do. (Hardware and Install). Know of anyone in Miami who could do it?

 

As a matter of fact, I believe the person who did that is in Miami. If I did it, I would charge about $1500 or so including the monitor.

 

there is only one person I can think of down there that can do it and make it look GOOD....
