I added XM to my 2nd gen CL. I have the XM commander with the blitzsafe adapter. The install was done by tweeter for 100$. What they did was put the commander interface in the sunglass tray and ran the wires in the roof down the right side of the car and under the dash and into the center console area. The antenna is just in front of the sunglass tray, but not visible from inside or outside. Service hasn't been bad, I am having some issues with getting Opie and Anthony right now, but they have credited me the months fees. Also, you should consider what you want to listen to more, NFL games on Sirius of College games on XM.

Hello NSXNEXT your set up is pretty nice!!! how much did it cost? I have the same car with stock navi and cannot find a place to install the satellite. Not even sure whether to get XM or Sirius. You have any other pictures of the setup?

CircuitCity will put this in my car for $55 even tho I didn't buy the blitz or the commander from them, "just as long as we sell it, we'll install it." Going in this week.

I went to the one in West Deptford which would be exit 21 off 295N. It is a few miles into town and not the easiest to get to if you're not familiar with the area. I am sure there is one in Moorestown NJ, which is off exit 36B on 295 of exit 5 off the NJTP. You would have to RT38 and go around the circle and come back to Tweeter, which would be on your right. If you want more specifics, let me know, I will provide them.

I didn't buy the receiver or the blitzsafe adapter there. The install dept. said $55 as long as the items I was having installed were sold by CC, they'd install them, no matter where I got them. I bought the commander on ebay and the blitz from Logjamelectronics.

so which is "better"? XM or Sirius... XM's startup fee is $100 and monthly is 2 for $15, while Sirius is $79 startup fee and 2 for $20 monthly...

I have heard that Sirius is "better", just not sure why...

I never had a startup fee for XM.

If you get Sirius before year end you can pay the one time fee, but I believe it is associated with the radio, so if that hardware dies then you'll be out of money.

I bought Sirius for my 98. It is much better than XM thanks to NFL packages. 240 bucks after the install and stuff, but take off 85 if you dont want install then take off another 25 if you dont want the warranty at circuitcity. I have my own problem though..I blew my passenger side speaker and driver side tweeter thanks to it.
