Running a 12V

I need to run a 12V lead wire to the trunk. Can someboby tell me what the best route would be? Is there a good spot to run it throught the firewall?
Thanks in advance.

Check the amp install threads. Some have detailed pics.

I feel your pain NOAL! I had a bitch of a time finding a good spot. There's a really easy gromet to use if you don't have a 6MT but if you do have a 6MT it's a little tougher. The Gomet I used is pretty well directly behind the center console so you have to push it through from the engine side. It's about 4-6" right of the centerline and down about 10-12" from the top of the firewall. Once you have the gromet out, just keep pushing the wire through until you can see it from the inside.

Thanks for the info guys. Dan, did you run a line to the trunk? Did it go through the center console or through the side of the car? I have an AT so it might be a little easier for me.

Side of the car is easier, but keep it away from any audio cables.

Yes I ran it down the driver's side under the trim at the bottom of the doors. Since you have an AT, you should use the gromet that is normally used buy the clutch pushrod. Ortiz used it in his install: http://www.acura-tsx.com/forums/show...&threadid=3900

No problem. If you have trouble, let me know and I can take some pics of where I ran my line...
